Okay, critique!
first thing that I noticed were the eyes were a bit off. My grandmother said, when it comes to paintings of people, the eyes are the most important because that's what people look at first. Either the right one needs to be turned inwards a bit more, or the left outwards a bit more.

2nd thing. I think that that posture is interesting and well done although the back wouldn't be so straight and the tops of the knees on an average person usually come up to about an inch below the chin, when they're sitting like that. Sit like that in front of a mirror and you'll see what I mean.

3rd -I'm really pulling this apart aren't I *is shot*
like drextalorr said the wrists are a bit bumpy, and seems like she has arthritis. Arms are pretty much straight to the back of the hand with just a tiny bump for the wrist bone. Again look in the mirror. It helps me

Another thing with the arms is that the one on the far side looks like it has two elbows. You should be able tp see more of the top part of the arm, which should flow to the shoulder. Once again do this infront of a mirror.

Apart from that *looks at melting neume-chan* The clothes were done quite well, and couldn't see a problem with the shading.
I also like the little birdy in the background
